Today we broke out our one item from Matilda Jane's newest line, Gypsy Blue. The skirt is called the Molly and it's full of a broad spectrum of colors and patterns. Because of the skirt's funky flavor, we paired it with a simple Target top and brown tights. Add her signature baby Gap boots and viola, a new cute outfit is born!

This is a repeat, Greggy Girl from last year! Thank you to the wonderful Michelle for fixing the shirt for us so we could wear it yet again. It was a favorite last year and is always a hit with the rich hues and girly feel. I love this set, and my princess loves to twirl around in it when we are out shopping! The bow was picked up at Von Maur and the boots are from Baby Gap and a staple of this years fall wardobe.

Enter Janie & Jack Fall. Finally. This elegant little number was picked up for a mere $36 dollars during a recent sale. It is a size 3 and runs very true to size. It is such a delicate looking dress, but very durable. The puppy detail sends the dress over the edge with cuteness. Thank you, J&J for finally impressing me again. I have missed you so.

August 24th

A new fall favorite, Who Let the Dots Out jumper from Mim Pi. I searched long and hard for this jumper on eBay, it's so Riley with the black and white and POLKA DOTS. The darn thing even has pockets, a must for Miss HM. With the foofy, poufy skirt and thousands of ways to accessorize, how could I pass it up when my dear friend Felicia pointed out that it was ON SALE at Chasing-Fireflies? Well, I couldn't. Obviously. This may be my favorite fall dress/jumper she owns thus far. Absolutely stunning in person, as well as in pictures in my opinion. The white shirt is from Gap, the big white bow from Von Maur (a midwest department store similar to Nordstrom) and the clip on pearl earrings are a treat from Claire's. Her uncle helped her make Hello Kitty at Build A Bear before he left for college, so that is her new favourite accessory as well.

Wednesday, August 12th

I know, I have lost track of the blog....again. But I am striving to be back into the swing of things this month. My classes have begun and my work schedule is more regular and I'm figuring it all out, so back to the toddler fashion we go!

Today she wore a beautiful, simple cotton dress from Baby Gap's Villa line matched with a plain white Gymboree tee. The flower in her hair is from LBB and the shoes are from Gymboree. White sandals are the best investment during the summer, those things have been worn to death and I always feel good about tossing out a well worn pair of shoes. May sound weird, but having unworn shoes at the end of a season really bothers me since I always pay a good amount for sturdy, cute shoes. Gymboree is terrific for those basic sandal needs every summer.

Today was a dreary day, so I had Riley try on this new set from Crewcuts, J.Crew's mini me. The jeans are from Baby Gap, and the headband is from the one and only LittleBeautyBoutique on etsy. I paired the ruffled collared shirt with the Paris tee and absolutely love it. So classy and elegant, perfect for everyday wear for the stylin' two year old!
